By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Fashionable: Paris Hilton wore grey trousers, a white blouse and grey pumps as she arrived at the airport yesterday in Los Angeles

Paris Hilton loves Paris Hilton, which was apparent as the heiress preened and posed while going through airport security.

While most passengers tried to get through the invasive security checkpoints at Los Angles LAX as quickly as possible, Paris took time out to strike several poses yesterday.

With her hair immaculately coiffed into long waves, she put a fashionable foot forward wearing grey trousers, a white blouse and grey pumps.

At one point she smiled and waved to the assembled photographers, then turned around, put her hands on her hips and struck another pose.

The heiress was on her way to the East Coast to visit with relatives.

After she arrived in New York, she tweeted: 'On my way to The Hamptons to spend a relaxing Memorial Day Weekend with my family.

'See you soon @KathyHilton! Love you!'

Before her flight left Los Angeles, it was clear Paris is a seasoned and prepared traveller.

She brought along a pair of socks, and slipped them on her feet to avoid walking across the airport's dirty floor when she was asked to remove her shoes for the security check.

Earlier in the day, Paris stopped by the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote her new reality series The World According to Paris.

She took to Twitter to let her fans know about experience: 'Backstage with @JayLeno. Love him! He is so funny and sweet! Such a cool guy! :)'

The two chatted about her new series and their mutual fondness of fancy cars.
