Fair cop: Christina Aguilera feels the force in her new film Burlesque
There will probably be quite a few men dreaming that Christina Aguilera stops them to take down their particulars in her new film role.
In these hotly anticipated scenes from new movie Burlesque, the sultry singer dons blood-red lipstick, a leather bustier and a cop cap as she appears alongside Cher, who doesn't look so criminal herself.
Ms Aguilera stars as a small-town girl called Ali Rose, who moves to Los Angeles where she finds work in a saucy strip club.
Career peak: The Dirrty star dons a sexy cop cap before busting some moves
It's the 29-year-old mum of one's first acting movie role, though it won't be much of a stretch to find her motivation, considering her Dirrty dance routines over the years...
Cher meanwhile, who looks amazing at 64, with or without all the rumoured plastic surgery, makes her long-awaited big screen debut as the club's owner and Aguilera's mentor, Tess, as the waitress progresses to become a rising star.
However, trouble soon raises it's ugly head when it looks like Tess will be forced to sell her Sunset Strip establishment to a nasty developer.

Cher will probably be mentoring her young charge in real life too, considering she previously won an Oscar for her role in Moonstruck.
Burlesque also stars Get Him To The Greek star Kristin Bell, 30, who's gone brunette for her starring role of Nikki in the movie.
Great Dane: Grey's Anatomy star Eric plays a charismatic entrepreneur who takes a shine to Ms Aguilera's character

Grey's Anatomy hunk Eric Dane, 37, who plays Dr Mark Sloan in the hit show, is also among the all-star cast, which also features former OC star Cam Gigandet, 27.
They're joined by Dancing With The Stars professional Julianne Hough, 22, Julie and Julia star Stanley Tucci, 49, and British actor Alan Cumming, 45, who plays make-up wearing Alexis, the club's doorman.

The movie is being mentioned in the same breath as Demi Moore's 1986 Striptease or Paul Verhoeven's 1995 so-bad-it's-good masterpiece Showgirls, though those behind the film are keener to align themselves with the Oscar-winning big screen adaptation of Chicago.
Ms Aguilera has, after all, penned some original songs for the movie's soundtrack, and Cher herself has written two, including the film's main song, a power ballad calked You Haven't Seen The Last of Me.
Leg up: The singer will be hoping her debut acting role as a sexy dancer gives her acting career a boost
Burlesque is slated for a UK release on December 17.
