Risky Business: Marisa Miller spoofs Tom Cruise's iconic role in a newly uncovered Guitar Hero advert
A new Guitar Hero commercial branded too hot for television has surfaced on the internet.
The advertisement, originally shot in 2008, features Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller spoofing Tom Cruise’s famous Risky Business dance scene.
While Tom wore a white button down during his sexy number, Marisa’s spot veered into more daring territory.
Leg up: The Victoria Secret model showed of her guitar skills and her body in the commercial, which was deemed too hot for TV
In the 30 second commercial Marisa - voted FHM's Sexiest Women in the World last month - shows off her perfect figure in super-sexy lingerie, while provocatively playing various instruments.
Although Marisa reveals no more skin than in an underwear advert, the Guitar Hero spot was still considered too racy to air.
The problem was due to the video game’s 12+ rating.
The spot, which shows Marisa gyrating to a Bob Seger track while wearing a sexy selection of bras, panties, and even a corset, was not considered suitable for the market.

Good clone fun: Marisa has viewers seeing quadruple at the end of the commercial, thanks to the magic of digital technology
Over the years the Guitar Hero campaign has seen a string of stars recreate the Risky Business scene, including Heidi Klum.
But fellow Victoria's Secret model Heidi kept it tame and wore a white button down a la Tom Cruise over her black lacy lingerie.
Baseball star Alex Rodreguez and swimmer Michael Phelps have also appeared in similar ads, while country singer Taylor Swift stepped in for Band Hero.
Marisa, a Southern California native, was discovered at age 16 in a café but didn’t get her big break until she worked with famed photographer Mario Testino in 2001 and landed the cover of Vogue.
